1.1 Barcode Macros for Office – NEW VERSION
dLSoft is pleased to announce the release of Barcode Macros for Office version 5. The new version adds an Active Barcode control to the already excellent image and font-based barcode abilities of this product, and extends support to Office 2007. The product now supports Word, Excel and Access in Office 2000/2002, 2003 and 2007 and includes samples for each product.
1.2 dBarcode-1D Developers Kit – NEW VERSION
dLSoft is pleased to announce the release of dBarcode-1D Developer Kit version 8 (yes, it has been around since Windows 3). Updated with the addition of font-based barcodes to allow space-efficient storage in spreadsheets and databases, support for MS Office 2000 - 2007 and compatibility with Windows Vista.
1.3 AnyLabels – NEW VERSION
dLSoft is pleased to announce the
release of AnyLabels version 3.
The new version has a greatly improved interface and now included its own
read/write database facility and a barcode driver for locating, printing and
updating records with a barcode scanner. A secondary template facility allows
records to be selected (by mouse or touch screen) for printing. Ideal for XP or

We are also pleased to announce the release of Labels.NET version 3. The new version has an improved designer interface, including a toolbar, and the facility to create a Help event in the designer to call the developer's own Help system.

dLSoft
has updated many products to provide the following additional features:
Products
supporting Codabar barcodes now provide the option of using the AIM (Mod 16)
check digit as an alternative to the commonly used Mod 10 check digit.
Products
supporting Code 128 now provide code types for Code 128 subtype A and Code 128 subtype
B without requiring control codes to be inserted into the barcode data.
Products
supporting UPC-E now provide support for number system 1 in addition to the
established number system 0. Additional code types allow UPC-E0 and UPC-E1
symbols to be generated from UPC-A data.
Products
that maintain initialisation data have been updated to operate under Standard
User credentials with the Windows Vista UAC mechanism.
The above
effects the many of our our products, but to avoid including a long list here
please refer to our current
versions list. Any product with a date of 20 December 2006 or later has
been updated.

pleased to announce the release of dBarcode Java Class – RSS for the creation
of Reduced Size Symbology barcodes under Java. The product includes the source
code for a sample application, applet and servlet..

Updates for Windows
The
following application products and developer components have been updated to
work under Windows Vista; in some cases the modifications are relatively minor
(demonstration progams having a totally black background under Vista), while in
others they are more serious (initialisation data not being mantained under
Vista).
