dLSoft has release new versions of its 2D Barcode font kits – the Aztec Font Kit, DataMatrix
Font Kit, PDF417 Font Kit and QR Code Font Kit. The new versions included fully-managed-code
components for .NET and Java classes
Testware versions
are available from our web site. Users of the earlier versions may upgrade
under our normal terms.

All Active Barcode
Components have been marked as “Safe for Initialising”, to avoid popup messages
from MS Office 2003 when documents containing the components are opened.

3.1 New products – dLSoft support QR Code
dLSoft is pleased to announce a number of
new products to provide QR Code barcodes. QR Code is becoming increasingly
popular because of the decision by some mobile phone manufactures to include QR
Code recognition in their phones.

A new version (2.5)
of the dLSoft Barcode
2D IMG Server for IIS has been release, and this adds
support for QR codes to the 6 other 2D types already supported.

3.2 Product updates and bug fixes
An updated version
of dBarcode.NET 1D Universal has been release. The new version adds support for
Code B, Code 11, ITF-6 and ITF-14 barcodes.
An updated version
of the Universal Barcode Font kit has been released. The new version adds a
.NET component and a Java Class to the DLL, OCX and UFL already included in the
kit.
dBarcode.NET and Java Class components that
support Extended Code 93 have been modified to fix a bug in the display of
check digits.
Testware versions
