1. Major Product updates - April 2000 

The following products have been updated:

Active Barcode Component (now version 1.1)
Active 2D Barcode Component (now version 1.1)
dBarcode-32 (now version 5.4)
dBarcode-32 Developers Kit (now version 5.4)
dBarcode-2D (now version 5.4)
dBarcode-2D Developers Kit (now version 5.4)

The new updates add the following features to all the above products:

a) the products can now produce PNG (Portable Network Graphics) 
images of barcodes - ideal for web applications; PNGs are public 
domain graphics - unlike GIFs which may require a paid for 
licence from Unisys Corporation. PNGs may be viewed with Internet 
Explorer (4 or later) or Netscape (4 or later).

b) the products can now produce Planet Code barcodes - the barcodes 
used for corporate mail tracking by the US Postal Service.

Existing user may upgrade under our normal terms and conditions.

Testware versions, pdf datasheets are available from 
our web site, and pricing information and the full product 
are available from your dealer.

2. Recent updates - March 2000 

The following products were updated last month:

Universal Barcode Font Kit - now version 1.1
Aztec Barcode Font Kit - now version 1.01
Datamatrix Barcode Font Kit - now version 1.01
PDF417 Barcode Font Kit - now version 1.1

The fonts in the above kits have been modified to correct the 
intercharacter spacing used in Microsoft Word.

Existing users can upgrade free of charge by downloading 
the testware version from our web site.

Testware versions, pdf datasheets are available from 
our web site, and pricing information and the full product 
are available from your dealer.
