1. Product updates

The following products were updated on April 3rd 2001:

Active-2D Barcode Component
dBarcode-2D Developers Kit
dBarcode 2000
Browser Barcode DataMatrix
DataMatrix Font Kit
These products were updated to correct a bug in the 
DataMatrix encoding system which incorrectly encoded
binary data which was followed by alphnumeric data.


The following products were updated on March 30th 2001:

dLabel-32
dIndex-32
dBarcode-2000
These products were update to allow automatic startup - 
printing - closedown cycles to be initiated. This allows
the programs to be run as a scheduled task, or on the
appearance of a data file - eg. from a mainframe database.
An application note AP03011 on our support site 
(www.dlsoft.com/support) details the operation.
These applications now allow sequence numbers to
decrement (for the benefit of users with label rollers!).


The following products were updated on March 16th 2001:

dBarcode-32 (all versions)
Active Barcode Component
Browser Barcode Code 39
Following an update earlier this year we managed to 
introduce a bug into these systems which resulted in 
an incorrect check digit showing in the human-readable 
text of Code 39 barcodes (the barcodes themselves were 
correct). This bug has now been fixed!

Barcode Server for IIS
dBarcode-32 (all versions)
Aztec font kit
Datamatrix font kit
PDF417 font kit
Universal font kit
these packages were updated to include the Visual Studio 
service pack 5 Microsoft components which they use.

Barcode Fonts for Windows (dFont)
All font packages were provided with an updated README file.
The fonts themselves remain unchanged.


Testware copies of all products are available from our web site, and 
users of previous versions may upgrade under our normal terms.

3. Web site restructured

Visitors to our web site will notice that it has undergone
some major changes. If you enter the site through the main
address www.dlsoft.com then you should have no problems.

However, if you use a bookmark or other link to pages inside
site you may find that many page addresses have changed.
An automatic redirect should take you to the new home page.

The structure of the associated ftp site has also been changed.

We hope the new site is faster in response and easier to read 
and navigate; we would welcome any comments.
