1. New Versions 

The following products have MAJOR NEW VERSIONS:

Barcode Server for IIS new version 2 - now much faster to
download the barcode images.

Universal Barcode Font Kit new version 3 - now handles over 
50 different barcode types, including the clocked postal codes.

The following have new releases:

dBarcode-32 Developers Kit (v6.1)
dBarcode-2D Developers Kit (v6.1)
These have indergone substantial changes to allow 1D
barcodes up to 80 characters to be created.

Active Barcode Component
Active 2D-Barcode Component
Aztec Font Kit
DataMatrix Font Kit
PDF417 Font Kit
Universal Barcode Font Kit
These have been updated to work correctly with 
Delphi version 6

A new version of the dLSoft Barcodes Online Server has 
also been installed (version 2).

Finally ALL Browser Barcode products - new certificates  
used for signing the CAB files. (Old certificate expires 
end of April)

Testware versions are available from our web site, and users 
of the previous versions may upgrade under our normal terms.

2. Product updates

The following products have been updated to include our 
latest barcode library, including Korean and Italian postal
barcodes:

Active Barcode Component
Barcode Macros for Office (v2.3)
dBarcode (all products)
dIndex-2k (v5.4)
dLabel-2k (v5.4)
Universal Barcode Font Kit (v3.0)
 
No serial number changes are involved in these updates.

Testware copies of all products are available from our web site, 
and users of previous versions may upgrade under our normal terms.

3. Other recent updates (from April)

New product 

dIndex-2k is a new product that allows connection to ODBC/ADO
databases (such as Access and SQL) to permit barcode access to 
the data for applications such as Point of Sale (for shops, 
restaurants, etc.), Checking in/out of items or people (for 
clubs, libraries, hire companies, etc.).

Testware versions are available from our web site, and users 
of the older dIndex-32 may upgrade under our normal terms.


Product updates

The following products have been updated to include the
RSS symbology:

Active-2D Barcode Component (v2.5)
dBarcode-2k (v2.7)
dIndex-2k (5.3)
dLabel-2k (5.3)
 
No serial number changes are involved in these updates.

Testware copies of all products are available from our web site, 
and users of previous versions may upgrade under our normal terms.

4. Upgrading your dLSoft product

Customers who wish to upgrade their dLSoft product 
to the latest version (free within a year of purchase) 
may do so by contacting DL Technology by e-mail or fax 
and providing the following information:

a) Product name and version
b) date of purchase
c) name of dealer purchased from
d) current serial number.
