Barcode IMG Server for IIS and Barcode-2D IMG Server for IIS These two products allow barcode images in GIF, PNG or WMF form to be created on an IIS web server and used on web pages. Barcode IMG Server for IIS supports over 50 common 1D barcode types, including EAN/UPC, Code 39, Code128, Codabar, ISBN, SISAC and many postal barcodes, and provides full control over human- readable fonts, colour, bearer bars, margin indicators, and image size. Barcode-2D IMG Server for IIS supports Aztec, DataMatrix, Maxicode, PDF417 and Micro PDF417 and RSS barcodes, with full control over the mode, security level, height-to-width ratio (where relevant) and dimensions. Product updates a) The Barcode Font - Telepen product has been updated to include an additional Telepen Numeric barcode option. b) ALL font-based products - including all Barcode Fonts, the Aztec Font kit, the DataMatrix font kit, the PDF417 font kit, and the Universal Barcode Font kit have had minor changes to the Help and ReadMe files to enable unsers of Crystal Reports Viewers for VB to install the products UFLs correctly. -------------------------------------- 3. Recent updates (from May 2003) a) New versions of our Developer Kits have been released: dBarcode-32 Developers Kit (v 7) dBarcode-2D Developers kit (v 7) These new versions are based on Active DLLs that replace the previously separate DLL and OCX and may be called from VB, VC or Visual Studio.NET, with many new calls, and include Delphi 6/7 components and an OLE automation server. Each includes the improved Help and installation systems. Users should note that the 2D kit no longer includes the 1D barcodes. (Version 7 is NOT a drop in replacement for version 6. Version 6 will continue to be available to special order) Testware versions are available from our web site, and users of the previous versions may upgrade under our normal terms. b) The licensing terms for the dBarcode-DLLs have been modified and are now the same as the licensing terms for the Developers Kits, i.e. A multi-user/redistributable licence is required to redistribute components of the products. How to Upgrade to the latest versions If you have purchased a product within the last 12 months and wish to have a free upgrade to the current version you need to e-mail us and specify the product name, your serial number, the name of dealer from whom you purchased the product and the purchase date. We will then send you a new serial number. If you wish to purchase the current CD (15 UK pounds inclusive) just e-mail us your existing serial number, credit card details and delivery address. If you wish to upgrade from an older product you can purchase a new serial number from our on-line store or any of our dealers, or by e-mail or fax to DL Technology.
