dLSoft Newsletter - July 1998 Contents dBarcode-2D update Barcode Macros update dLabel-32 update Web site changes -------------------------------------- 1. dBarcode-2D update All versions of dBarcode-2D now support AZTEC 2D barcodes in addition to PDF417, Code 49 and Code 16k. This includes the Standard and Pro versions and the 2D developers kit. Current version is 1.2, dated 2nd July 98 or later. Registration codes obtained since January 1st, 1998 will activate the testware version downloaded from our web site. ------------------------------------- 2. Barcode Macros update The Barcode Macros for Office product has been updated and now provides a pop-up dialog box allowing the barcode type and other parameteres to be selected when a single macro is run. Of course the facility to use customised macros is still present. Users who purchased the product after January 1st 1998 may download the testware version from our web site and use their registration codes to make it fully active. -------------------------------------- 3. dLabel-32 minor update Some printer drivers lie about the number of duplicates they are capable of printing. dLabel-32 did revert to the number reported by the driver if this was less than the number of duplicate labels requested. Now the user gets the option to instruct the driver to print the requested number anyway. This has solved the problem with some TEC printers. Current version (4.17) dated 2 July 98 or later. Registration codes obtained since January 1st, 1998 will activate the testware version downloaded from our web site. -------------------------------------- 4. Web site changes During the week of July 19-25 our web, ftp and e-mail servers will (should) be moving to our own premises. While we hope the transition will be seamless, there can be delays while internet names propogate around the world's nameservers; so if you experience problems communicating with our sites at any time during that week please try again later. ------------------------------------ You have received this e-mail because you subscribed to our newsletter.
