1. New product announcement
dLSoft is pleased to announce a major new product - 
the dLSoft Active Barcode Component; as easy as ABC, 
the only product needed for adding barcodes to Visual 
Basic, Delphi, and MS Office applications. This is a 
powerful single-file component which does not rely 
on extra DLLs, such as MFCxx.DLL. It can be an ActiveX 
control or an inserted object. In situ editable or 
fully programmable.

The product recently entered its beta test program 
and beta versions are available from 
ftp.dlsoft.com/ftp/beta/
where a pdf data sheet is also available. We would
be pleased to hear of the experiences of any user 
who tries the beta version.

We expect to release the product during October 1999. 
It is fully Y2K compliant.
Pricing will be announced shortly.

2. Product updates
dLabel-32, dLabel-2D and dIndex-32 were updated during 
August to correct minor problems with the record editor.
Users of versions 4.4x may update using the testware
download by cancelling the registration for at the 
end of installation.

3. Package distribution arrangements

Since July 1st all package products are being shipped 
on CD ROM. CD ROM versions are always available for 
immediate dispatch. 3.5 inch disk versions can be 
produced to order, but will take 2-3 days.
